how do I book into classes? can you book me, or help cancel my booking?

To book into classes at Breathe, you must set up an account through the Breathe Fitness app. We've put together some guides to help you out while you get started.

If you do not have a mobile device that supports this, you can set up your account via desktop, but the app is optimized for class and account management. Every guest must have their own profile and book into classes themselves. You cannot book into class for other guests under your own account.

Once your account is set up, the booking and cancellation process is quick and easy, and it’s all done virtually - managed by you. No need for in-person transactions or support. You must input all information correctly + accurately. The app will restrict you from booking into classes if any information is missing.

Advanced booking for classes is required. Bookings open eight days in advance, at the end of the class time. 

We respect your privacy and it’s the law; you manage your personal data. We do not manage any personal client data. It is the responsibility of the guest to book into classes, cancel, and manage their account. Guests MUST complete and sign waiver, and provide emergency contacts to take classes in an infrared heated studio.

Troubleshooting Note: On occasion, the app is updated for necessary functional updates. Unfortunately, this may impact proper app loading. You may need to delete the apps and reload onto your devices. This should resolve any booking issues.

The technology is designed to protect and keep client data and credit card info confidential. Clients need to remember logins and passwords as we do not have access to this information. Passwords can be reset by requesting a reset password link. This is why correct contact info and emails is essential in client profiles, for effective and consistent communication with the business to receive purchase receipts, schedule changes, class booking and cancellation notifications etc.

can I book and pay for more than one person?

Every client needs to set up their own account with personal info, and must sign their own waiver. Only personal bookings & cancellations can be completed through your Breathe Fitness account.

how do I book into classes?

We've made it easy so you handle all of your own schedules. The easiest way to view, book & manage your personal information, account & schedule is by downloading our "Breathe Fitness" app. All bookings are managed personally by clients. Please do not contact us requesting for us to book/cancel you into classes. 

You may not book other guests into classes, only yourself.

I don't have a phone or tablet to download the breathe fitness app. can I still book into classes?

Using a computer?

No problem. If you need to purchase a membership and book into classes, you can do so at our Wellness Living desktop site, viewable here. The Breathe Fitness App is optimized for mobile use, but you can still complete your membership purchases and class bookings all at your desktop, too!

I tried setting up an account, but it says my email is already in-use. help!

Running into issues with your email already being associated/in-use when you sign up? Wellnessliving is used among many service providers and you may already have an account set up.

Already have an account through Wellnessliving? Sign into your account through the Wellnessliving Achieve app or on your desktop and add Breathe Fitness as a location.

when should I arrive for class? what should I bring?

To provide the best experience for you at Breathe, we have a strict attendance policy. We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of class, as the front door is locked 5 minutes before the start of class to ensure we start & finish classes on time. Classes can fill up quickly, so it can be nice to find your spot and take time to settle in.

Cleaned and sanitized props are available for classes that require them. Includes props such as: yoga blocks, yoga straps, resistance bands, hand weights, bolsters, and more.

Plan to bring:

  • yoga mat*
  • towel
  • water
  • comfortable clothes for heated yoga

do you rent yoga mats?

We sure do! Yoga mat rentals can be reserved and paid before attending the class. Mat rentals are $8+tax each and must be reserved in advance through the Breathe app under your account.

After you reserve your mat, show your reservation to the instructor and they will get you a clean rental mat.

Why do we charge for mat rentals? We want to ensure that every guest has a clean and hygienic yoga mat to practice on. Our @SupportedSoul mats undergo regular sanitization, allowing you to enjoy a safe and refreshing yoga session. Maintaining and replacing yoga mats regularly is essential to ensure they remain clean, safe, and in good condition for everyone to use.

does breathe fitness have showers for guest use?

We are happy to offer shower use for guests. Our studio has one shower that is cleaned regularly.  Shower & towel rentals are $8+tax each and must be reserved in advance through the Breathe app under your account.

Why do we charge for shower rentals? We have one shower, which is cleaned daily and space for a small hot water tank for up to 3-4 hot showers per class. The appointment process helps prioritize client bookings and the small rental fee includes towels & luxurious shower products.

are all of your classes heated?

All of our classes in Studio 1 are heated 35-40 degrees Celsius with 20-40% humidity and use FAR Infrared. More information can be found in individual class descriptions.

Our Studio 2 is our non-heated fitness studio located directly next door. Studio 2 offers non-heated circuit training, boot camp, functional training, mobility classes, and more. Now you have the opportunity for more class options, getting you to move and sweat in more ways, at more times, with more space!

Note: Due to the heated nature of the classes, Breathe Fitness’s Age minimum is 16 for independent attendance at adult classes. 16-18 year olds will need written parental/guardian consent. Please email us at breathefitnessstudios@gmail.com

 

we keep hearing about your new studio 2. what classes are offered in this new space and where can I learn more?

Breathe has taken over the location next to our studio and retail location for non-heated fitness classes. This new studio location is called Studio 2 in the Breathe Fitness App.

This new studio space offers non-heated circuit training, boot camp, functional training, mobility classes, and more. Now you have the opportunity for more class options, getting you to move and sweat in more ways, at more times, with more space!

STUDIO 2 IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR EXISTING MEMBERSHIP, UNLESS YOU HAVE SELECTED OUR YOGA ONLY MEMBERSHIP. SAME BOOKING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES APPLY TO THESE CLASSES. BOOK A SPOT IN ADVANCE USING THE BREATHE FITNESS APP. ON THE DAY OF YOUR CLASS, ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY TO CHECK IN AND SET UP YOUR MAT SPACE.

how often is the class schedule updated? does it stay the same year-round?

We do our best to keep a consistent schedule for our guests, with more classes becoming available in the fall/winter months.

June-August | Summer Schedule (approx. 20 hours of classes available each week)

September-May | Fall/Winter Schedule (approx. 24+ hours of classes available each week)

Life happens and instructors need time off, too. We work to provide at least 12 hours' notice of any schedule, class, or instructor changes, and always keep the Breathe Fitness app up to date.

Sometimes, there are unpredictable circumstances, illness, injury, and other emergencies that we do our best to work around. We appreciate your patience with us, because we all are humans, too!

I'm just passing by. can I walk-in and take the class as a guest?

Advanced booking is required for all classes as waitlisting is in effect, and we do not accept walk-ins. Bookings open eight days in advance, at the end of the class time. 

You are welcome to set up your account through the Breathe Fitness app and book into class if time permits. Details for pricing options, memberships, purchasing terms & conditions can be found directly in the app's "Online Store" in the "Product Details."

do you offer waitlisting for your classes? how does it work?

We do offer waitlisting at Breathe Fitness. Many of our classes fill up quickly, but you could still get in. Here's some helpful information on how waitlisting works:

  • Manage your position in the line up from the convenience of your phone; 'My Schedule' in the Breathe Fitness app.
  • Guests on the waitlist are automatically added to the class, first come, first serve, up to one hour or 60 minutes before the start of class.
  • You will NOT be notified when the waitlist changes. You need to confirm your spot in class by viewing "My Schedule."
  • Review "My Schedule" in the Breathe Fitness app to confirm the mat space number or your number on the waitlist. 
  • If plans change and you can no longer attend the class, please cancel off the waitlist. This allows another guest in the Breathe community to attend the class. 
  • There are NO penalties for cancellations off the waitlist. Only once you've been added to the class from the waitlist. 
  • To skip the lineup and avoid disappointment, book your classes and reserve your spot 8 days in advance.

what if I need to cancel out of class? do I need to pay a cancellation fee?

Our early cancellation policy is 8 hours. Cancel your spot by managing "My Schedule" in the Breathe Fitness app. You will not be charged a fee unless the cancellation has been made after that time.

One "No Show" or “Late Cancellation” results in an immediate automatic $20.00 fee.

All class bookings and cancellations are managed personally by guests in the app. This applies to both a “Class” and “Waitlist” if you can no longer attend for any reason. This allows another guest in the Breathe community to attend the class. 

- We do not offer refunds on promotional discount codes not applied correctly.

- We do not offer refunds for "No Show" or "Late Cancellation" of classes.

if I can't make my scheduled class, can a friend take my spot?

We are unable to offer the transfer of memberships or bookings. If a friend or family member would like to take your spot, you will need to cancel out of the class to open up that spot, and your friend can then book in under their own account, using their own membership.*

*Every client needs to set up their own account with personal info, and must sign their own waiver. Only personal bookings & cancellations can be completed through your Breathe Fitness account.

is there an age restriction on who can take classes?

 Breathe Fitness’s Age minimum is 16 for independent attendance at adult classes. 16-18 year olds will need written parental/guardian consent. Please email us at breathefitnessstudios@gmail.com.

I'm unable to find childcare for my child during a scheduled class. can they wait in the boutique during class?

We understand that making arrangements for children can sometimes be challenging. Unfortunately, due to our insurance policy, we are unable to allow children under the age of 16 to remain in the studio unattended during classes. This policy helps us ensure a safe environment for everyone.

we would love to host our next event in your studio space. do you rent either of your studio spaces?

Thank you for your interest in renting our space!  We offer rentals of our studio space during available hours in our schedule.

Rental Rates

  • Studio 1: $150 per hour + $75 cleaning fee
  • Studio 2: $100 per hour + $75 cleaning fee 

Important Considerations: 

  • Studio 1 Heating: As a hot yoga studio, our heating schedules must be taken into account when booking. 
  • Insurance: All renters are required to provide proof of liability insurance before the rental date.

I have a breathe auto-renewing membership, how can I cancel my membership?

If you have one of the following breathe memberships, this may apply to you:

breathe VIP, VIP couples, VIP annual, 5 x class pass auto-renew, and unlimited hot yoga membership

We are sorry to see you go! We have option to both cancel or hold/pause a membership, depending on your needs, and this can be requested through our membership pause/cancellation form in the Breathe Fitness app.

Our VIP memberships are a 12-month contract. If you are looking to cancel, here's what you need to know:

· Need to cancel before 12-months? You can waive the min 12-month commitment with 30 days notice in writing and by paying an early cancellation fee of $75.00 +tax.

· NO cancellation fees after 12+ months with 30 days notice in writing.

· Need to cancel right away? You can waive the 30 days notice requirement by paying an early cancellation fee of $75 +tax.

Request a membership pause or cancellation through an online form in the Breathe Fitness app. - Breathe Fitness app > My Profile > Forms > 2024 - Pause/Cancel My Auto-Renewing membership.

The $75 + tax fee for pausing or canceling your automatic Renewal Membership helps us cover the administrative costs involved in processing these requests. This fee ensures we can continue to offer the same high-quality services and maintain the benefits that come with your Membership. By keeping our memberships flexible, we aim to support our members' needs while also managing the operational aspects of our studio.

can I put my breathe auto-renewing membership on hold?

Going away for a while? No problem! The following memberships can be put on hold:

breathe VIP, VIP couples, VIP annual, 5 x class pass auto-renew, and unlimited hot yoga membership

Request a membership pause or cancellation through an online form in the Breathe Fitness app. Your membership can be put on hold once per calendar year for a minimum of 4 weeks and maximum 2 months and a one-time $75.00+tax admin fee per hold/pause (including medical, injury, pregnancy, etc.).

I received a gift card for a breathe membership - how do I apply it?

to apply the gift card to your account, you must download the breathe fitness app and set up an account.

can I extend my punch passes?

If you're not able to get through all your punches before they expired, you have the option to extend. It's important to note:

* Every extension is a one-time $38.00 + tax extension fee per person & includes a class drop-in.
* No restrictions on the number of extensions.

* To request a punch pass extension, send us an email so we can implement the pass extension & process extension fee.

* Alternatively, a new pass can be purchased and the expired passes will be extended.

10x Punch Pass extension expires 3 months after extension date. 

5x Punch Pass extension expires 2 months after extension date.

do you offer refunds on membership purchases? can I transfer my membership to a friend?

All sales are final—no refunds, exchanges, or membership transfers or extensions. Membership payments and passes once charged or purchased are not eligible for refunds.

Additionally, we do not offer refunds on promotional discount codes applied incorrectly.

do you have membership gift certificates?

We love the gift of a yoga membership.

how do I apply a membership discount code?

how do I apply an account credit on my account when purchasing a new membership?

If you have an account credit on your membership account, you can apply that balance to a new membership purchase.

During checkout, you will see your account balance that can be applied under Payment Methods. Be sure to select the account balance that is shown, as well as the card you will use to cover the remainder of the payment.

what payment methods to you accept?

all of our membership purchases are considered "contactless," accepting all major credit cards including American Express. purchases can be made directly in the breathe fitness app.

when can we shop at breathe's retail boutique?

Shop before or after classes, or shop online 24/7. Free pick up is usually within 12 hours. 

Due to the nature of our products all sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.

if we order retail products online, can we pick up at the studio?

Absolutely! Purchase online 24/7 and free pick up is usually within 24-72 hours. Bring your receipt or order confirmation email to the studio and show to the instructor. 

Please note: any orders held at the studio for over 7 days will incur a $20 hold fee. If you need to make other arrangements, just let us know.

do you offer gift certificates?

YES! We offer two types of gift certificates - retail and memberships.

You can purchase a retail gift certificate here. Our retail gift certificates are delivered digitally via email.

what payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards except American Express.

For memberships, client authentication is required through the credit card authentication process before booking and attending classes at the studio.

We also accept retail and membership gift certificates (sold and applied separately).
